Who isn?t familiar with a serving of thick lentil soup to warm up, preferably enjoyed at cold times of the year... in Swabia, lentils with sausage and Spätzle pasta are a regional speciality.
And although lentils look very nondescript, they actually contain lots of protein and minerals like zinc and iron.
Preparation:
Seeberger lentils do not require soaking. For 300 g of lentils calculate 1?1 1/2 l water.Cooking time 1/2 ? 3/4 of an hour, in a pressure cooker 8?10 minutes.
